Her project was a wonderful little purse made from an old suit jacket and some ties.

Also honourable mentions to:

Ellen Howard for turning a little black dress into an amazing cat purse.

Sarah Ottewell for her wine bottle/glass cozy.

We are introducing a few new classes:

Machine Crash Course. A 3 hour crash course teaching the basics of using the sewing machine. Students learn to make an easy and stylish pillow.

Beyond the Beginner. A 3 week course designed as a stepping stone for those with Beginner experience who aren't quite ready to move to Intermediate.

Sew Be It Studio and our Beginner Sewing students team up to help homeless animals.

While learning how to sew, our beginner students work on small projects. Thanks to donations of old scrap fabric we are getting the students to make beds for dogs and cats currently at The Toronto Humane Society.

So our students are learning as well as doing something rewarding.
